What this service is, and what it is not

Worth two minutes before you call. None of it is buried in small print elsewhere on the site.

We connect you with a contractor. We do not do the work.

Texas Foundation Repair and Remodeling Experts is a referral service. Using it costs you nothing — we are paid by the contractors who receive the calls, not by homeowners. What we do is take your description of the problem and route you to an independent foundation contractor covering your city.

We do not perform foundation repair. We do not employ technicians, own equipment, or attend your property. Nobody at this company will be the person who evaluates your house.

The contractors are independent businesses

Every contractor we route calls to runs their own company. They are not our employees, agents, partners or franchisees, and we do not control them. They set their own scope, their own prices, their own schedule and their own terms.

Any agreement you reach is between you and that contractor. We are not a party to it, we do not hold your money, and we have no authority to vary what they have agreed with you.

We do not warrant or guarantee any work

We make no promise about the quality, timeliness, price or outcome of work performed by a contractor you reach through this site. Any warranty on the work is the contractor's own, on their terms. Ask for it in writing before work begins, and check whether it transfers if you sell the house.

We also cannot promise a response time or an appointment. Contractor availability is theirs, not ours.

Checking licence and insurance is your responsibility

Texas does not license foundation repair contractors as a trade at state level, which means the word “licensed” carries less weight here than most homeowners assume. We publish no licence numbers, certifications, ratings, review counts or years-in-business figures for any contractor, because we have not verified them.

Before you hire anyone, ask them directly for a current certificate of insurance, any engineering affiliations they claim, and references in your own city. Verify those yourself. That check is yours to make and we cannot make it for you.

The photographs are illustrative

Every photograph on this site is stock or illustrative imagery of foundation conditions and repair methods. None of it shows our own crews, our own equipment, our own premises, or a project completed by a contractor in our network. Anyone appearing in a photograph is a model or stock subject, not a contractor you would be routed to.

The diagrams are our own and are drawn to explain the mechanism, not to depict a specific property.

About the information published here

The guidance on this site is general information about foundation movement in Texas. It is not an engineering opinion on your house and does not replace an inspection by a qualified professional.

Where we quote cost figures, they are ranges published by named third parties and attributed to them. They are not our prices, not a quote, and not a prediction of what you will be charged. Soil data is drawn from USDA-NRCS and the Texas Almanac and is cited where used.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, raise it on the call before you agree to anything. Our about page covers how the arrangement works in more detail, the contact page sets out what to have ready, and the glossary defines the words a quote will use.

If you want to understand the problem before you speak to anyone, start with our guide to foundation repair across Texas and the inspection page — between them they cover what a contractor should be measuring and what their report should contain.
